Nagano prefecture will be the destination for the September edition of Papersky’s Tour de Nippon. Buzzing with sweet honey bees. Towering with mountains and shining with crispy red apples. Welcome to Nagano’s Minami Shinshu area. A natural playground for hikers and cyclists set in-between the Central and Southern Alps.

We are now taking sign ups at contact@khmj.com for Papersky’s Tour de Nippon in Nagano. The event will take place on 9/28 (Saturday) and 9/29 (Sunday). Papersky’s Tour de Nippon project is about finding the magic of Japan’s rural districts, their inhabitants, nature, culture and food. Each ride travels to various prefectures to ride bicycles, eat local food and meet the ‘real’ people of the area. This upcoming ride will take us to Nagano’s Minami Shinshu area.

DATE: 9/28 (Saturday) & 9/29 (Sunday)
 EVENT NAME: Biking Between Apples and the Alps
PLACE: Nagano’s Minami Shinshu area

FEATURING:
 Day 1 (9/28) // Alps Ride & Apple Picnic
* a breathtaking ride between the Japanese Alps
* a Shinshu BBQ picnic complete with apple trees and fresh cider
* stay at Ryokan Hotsprings facility and bathe on both Saturday & Sunday
* Enjoy a walk in the forest and journey to the peak of a mini mountain (1470m)
* Chill out at an old Japanese house and hear and feel the stories of long ago.
* Eat local honey and miso by some of Minami Shinshu’s most charming women.

10:30 am “Komagane Sogo Bunka Center”

 FINISH TIME & ENDING LOCATION: 
3:00 pm “Seiryuen” (Matsukawa hotsprings)

37,000 yen (includes hotel, 3 meals, snacks, insurance and guide fees)

If you would like to participate it’s necessary to sign up in advance and while spots are available.
*The cost of the Papersky’s Tour de Nippon does NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION (flights, cars, trains, ferries) from the participant’s house to the starting point and from the finish point back to the participant’s house. All transportation must be self-booked.
