Taiwan Not Just Travel @ Not Just Library
Papersky, 2019/06/11Taiwan has the largest number and density of high mountains in the world. They’re more then 250 mountain summits over 3,000 meters! So what’s the catch? Why hasn’t the ‘outdoor boom’ sweeping the world not penetrated Taiwan? The only thing holding Taiwan’s nature back from the people is that there is little infrastructure and barely any information as to how and where to access Taiwan’s pristine forests, high peaks, shiny seas, and rural roads. So for the past two years Papersky magazine and our crew in Taiwan have been researching. The result of this hard work is Papersky’s Taiwan ‘HIKE & BIKE’ issue.
To celebrate the release of this issue Papersky is currently curating an exhibition about our hike & bike trip from Taipei to Jinshan via hiking and then from Hualien to Taitung via bicycle at Taiwan’s NOT JUST LIBRARY.
Not Just Library is located in the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and is Taiwan’s premier design library. The library holds a collection of more then 30,000 design publications and over 100 magazine titles from around the world.
Papersky’s HIKE & BIKE Taiwan exhibition will be showing at the Not Just Library from 6/4-6/30. The library
is opened daily from 10:00am – 6:00pm and closed on Monday.
