Taiwan Papersky meets Taiwan! Special Travel Talk Event in TaipeiPapersky, 2016/11/19
Papersky and Boven magazine library will hold a special talk event at the Boven magazine library in Taipei on November 30th. Lucas B.B., the Editor-in-Chief of PAPERSKY magazine will join Spencer Chou from Boven to talk about Papersky ‘travel&culture’ magazine in general, Japan, and how Taiwan and it’s culinary culture is seen both from foreign and local eyes.
Just 270km apart from Japan’s Ishigaki Island, Taiwan is an Island nation with a richness for food culture that is rarely matched on planet earth. Tourists from all over the globe visit Taiwan seeking great food. The new issue of PAPERSKY features Taiwanese food & cooking. Papersky editors met up with local Taiwanese creators who love cooking as much as they do creating. Papersky joined the guest artists for cooking sessions in each of their kitchens, and then asked them to let us in on their three favorite spots to eat in Taipei. The navigator for Papersky’s ‘cook’ issue is chef Masayo Funakoshi. She has traveled the world by boat as a private chef as well as worked in various countries, literally gaining a world of culinary knowledge on her travels. Also in the issue Lucas cycles around Tainan & Yilan regions in search of each areas local delicacies. Issues of Papersky’s Taiwan’s ‘cook’ edition will be available for sale at this special talk event.
